Provided site plan review for this transit oriented development project.
This 8.5-acre site is immediately adjacent to the Rhode Island Avenue/Brentwood Metro Station. Completed in November 2011, it transformed a commuter parking lot into 274 workforce and affordable housing units above 70,000 square feet of retail. The project eventually won the 2012 "Jack Kemp Workforce Housing Models of Excellence Award."
